Anybody that expected to find frequent and beautiful updates to this blog has certainly been disappointed, us included. I have learned that traveling is grueling work. By the time we get to wherever we are going it is very late and we are very tired. Here i a quick rundown of what we have done so far.


First night we went to vegas and saw Lion King. Diane had seen it before but Jose had not. It is really spectacular and makes you think that the peoplethe made thhis show must be very ingenious how they created the costumes and props. Really liked the show. No gambling.

we then traveled to Mentone, Ca right next to Redlands and spent a day with Jose's Children and grandchildren. It is amazing to see how big and smart the grandchildern are. The grandson, Dallen aged 2, calls Jose "Grumpah" his favorite word is "again". He is bug into sports and can throw a catchable foam football or volley a baloon. Granddaughter Meghan aged 4, has the perfect balance between being a tomboy and a princess. She is just as confortable with Star Wars as Barbie.

The next day we made it out to Santa Barbara. We had dinner at a seafood retaurant in a marina.

The we continued north on the Paciific Coast Highway. This is really beautiful area with the mountains on one side and the ocean on the other. Diane had never seen the Pacific ocean. We had lunch at Morro Bay with plenty of sea lions sleeping nearby, sayy the Hearst Castle Visitors Center, and spent thenight in a cute cabin near Big Sur. The main goal for today is getting to San Francisco. we'll see how that works out.

The GPS tracking site is updated more often than this one because the computer does thar automatically when I remember to set it up to do it.

We are having a great time.
