I just re-read my previous post and realized how many typos and misspellings i have. Pease understand I am not usually that sloppy. It is difficult to type that much on my phone, in the dark, in a hurry. I hope you can catch the main ideas.
We have realized our initial plans were very ambitious. We probably needed 2 weeks for this trip. We have seen many places that we would have wanted to visit more in-depth, such as Lompoc, where some of readers of this blog used to work. The little cabin where we stayed last night was major cute, with a creek running across the (dirt) road. We were sad to leave there.
According to our plan, today we were supposed to have visited San Francisco. In reality we have not even made it to Oakland and are stopped for the night. There is so much to see. Diane is feeling under the weather, has sore throat and is coughing a lot. So we stopped here for the night and she is asleep now. When she wakes up we will recompute the rest of our vacation.
We re having great fun. Plans are just guidelines.
